How do I (as an organisation) confirm the participation of a volunteer?

This help desk article explains how you, as an organization, can confirm the participation of a volunteer or student. Step-by-step with images, followed by text instructions.

 

  1. Navigate to the relevant activity. Go to your profile icon → Organization → opportunities.

  2. Between the colored bar (green if the activity is open for applications, or yellow if it has already been filled), you'll find the options "Info," "Applications," and "Activity Reports."

  3. Ensure the application is set to "match". Make sure the application status is set to "match." If it is not, the system will assume the volunteer has not been approved to participate. You can do this via the "Applications" option.

  4. Confirm participation in "Activity Reports". Go to "Activity Reports." In the first column, "Status," you can confirm participation. Click on the edit icon and select "Confirm." If the activity report is not listed, click on "Create missing activity reports for all accepted applications."
