Why change terms and how does it affect platform?

We offer many options within the platform, so it can be used for different types of organizations. But maybe you offer the platform to schools or volunteer centers. Then you don't want it to say "organization" everywhere.

This is why we offer the possibility to choose the terms yourself. These terms can be found in various standard texts, such as on the organization page or the profile.

What follows are examples of with different customized terms.

How do you customize the terms?

  1. Go to the administration panel

  2. Go to settings

  3. Choose "customize names"

  4. Under the "Customize names" header, choose the language if necessary.

  5. Scroll down to "How should organization members be named on the site?"

  6. Choose your preferred singular and plural term for member, moderator, team and organization.

  7. PLEASE NOTE: these terms are case sensitive, so do not use capital letters!

  8. Choose the definite article: a or an.

  9. Click "save."
