When you create a new account, you usually have to verify yourself through a link in an email. If you are invited to the platform, you will also receive an email with a link. Always check your spam box to see if the e-mail ended up there.

Sometimes you can't find this email or the link has expired. In that case you can request a new password (link to article for more information). Via the password reset email you can log in anyway.
