# How to help a user reset their password or verify their account?

## User forgot password. User didn't get verification email.

If a user has lost access to their account because they've forgotten their password, or has to verify their account, they can reset their password. You can direct them to [this helpdesk article.](https://help.deedmob.com/en/i-forgot-my-password-now-what?hsLang=en)

If the user needs more support, you can trigger a password reset email on their behalf.

Go to the login page of your platform and click **"Forgot password?"**. Enter the user's email address and submit. They'll receive an email with a reset link, which is valid for 2 hours.

Make sure the email address you enter matches the one on their account. If they don't receive the email, ask them to check their spam folder.
